Subscribe if you want to synchronise a trumba calendar with your Microsoft Outlook Calendar, if you want calendars that can be updated by multiple users or you want to publish calendars that merge with your website. Otherwise, the free version will suit fine.
An advantage of Trumba is that you can import events from any calendar system that supports iCalendar - for example Mozilla Calendar - a downloadable extension to Firefox.
Getting the Free version"
To signup you have to provide an email address, a display name, a password and timezone.
You then receive a verification email and are then asked for full name etc. on a form that appears to be targeted to organizations. For personal use select NA/home/personal use in the number of employees box.
You can link to a Trumba calendar if you know its online name. In the example below the calendar's online name is edgework:

Trumba provides the code to display your calendar within a web-page. The Trumba calendar does not display correctly in a pbwiki page but displays within a normal web-page as it does when linked to - see above link.
